//LBD WEEK THREE

LBD WEEK THREE

In response to the cold autumn months, this is 60s inspired winter wear with just a touch of vintage love.
Despite the cold, a Little Black Dress always looks gorgeous with a cute scarf, loafers and a adorable jacket. Don't be afraid to wear dresses in Autumn or Winter, adapt it with some cute shoes and a warm sweater. LBDs can be worn in any type of weather!
------------------------------------------

 How lovely is the sweater I'm wearing? It's actually my mums. When I saw it hanging up in her wardrobe I just knew I had to pair it with my LBD! It's super beautiful.
Had a ton of fun with this outfit. I love how the colours and shapes just worked so well with the dress.

Quick tips for winter: despite the cold, don't neglect your sense of style! Wear what you would wear in summer but with some adaptations that will keep yourself nice and toasty. Socks, tights, long sleeve shirts are life savers in these cold months!

And to our beautiful readers overseas who don't have cold weather:
enjoy it!

Fashion can be bought.  Style one must possess.  ~Edna Woolman

LBD WEEK TWO

A casual bohemian approach to the little black dress. Paired with harem pants, this take on the LBD is a little bit "I dream of Jeanie", with a little bit of neutrals, with just a bit of classic style.

Knits with any black dress guarantees a light and effortless gorgeous look

As promised, LBD week two is up on a lovely Sunday evening! Thanks for trusting in our promises! :)

Was just over the moon with the encouragement that we recieved from the last LBD post. I (Vess) hasn't really practiced my illustration skills in a while! Its been a joy to share my illustrations with you and recieve so much love! So here is another illustration in a different style that has an emphasis on detail. Do you like this style or the LBD week one?

In terms of illustrations; I really can't wait to share with you some of my favourite fashion illustrators! And in terms of the LBD, lovely Val has been encouraging me to try some different things with the LBD. Because I see her as my personal super stylist, I'm excited with anticipation of what we'll think of next.

Please stay posted to see what we do next week!

//LBD WEEK ONE

LBD WEEK ONE

I would call this, comfy casual with an emphasis on unified accessories.

Paired the black dress with a variety of accessories that really makes the mustard scarf look lovely. Little bright burst of colour always make any black dress look amazing.

 Week one of LBD weekends and something thing to say:

It's Tuesday.
Was extremely caught up this weekend with tooo many things to do. But please do not fret, next weeks will definately be up next Sunday evening. My apologies and I pinky promise, cross my heart and hope to die, poke a needle in my eye promise that it will be up next Sunday.

And please enjoy my little illustration of my outfit. I personally think that I am definately out of practice. So please leave a comment in the coming weeks if you think that my illustrations improve (hopefully) or if you like a particular drawing style. That would be simply amazing!
