//WANDERING MOMENTS

Photos taken (in order):
1. Citycircle tram 2-4. StateLibrary 5.hmm..not sure 6.St Paul's cathedral

I'm heading off to the city today, to relax, spend some time with friends, and to do one of my most favourite things; explore the wonderful nooks and hidden places in Melbourne. I know, some of my friends from the more, hectic and busy cities (HongKong, KL etc.), consider Melbourne quite mundane (in comparison). But I personally just love travelling through the city side streets, discovering unexplored places and especially experiencing cafes and many of their beautiful interiors and designs.

Can't wait to show you guys some more pics from our adventures around and about, and letting you guys know more of my favourite places.

Some fashion posts up soon, and thanks to all of our friends who 'liked' our fb page v&v. Really, really, feel so blessed and appreciate the support!

Isn't the city beautiful?

As much as you guys are!

//BEACH THOUGHTS

Just a few photos showing the beach and it's wonders. These pics were taken on our trip to the Sorrento beaches in Victoria. Within the photos, the waves and the beach looks extremely calm, serene and enjoyable because the coldness of the winds, unfortunately doesn't translate effectively through the photos! It may not look like it, but the beaches were freezing! Despite the cold winds we still enjoyed ourselves playing around with the seaweed, rockpools and trying to tan!

 Unfortunately, after venturing through NSW, I have to say that, Victorian beaches really can't compare to the beaches in NSW! (sorry Vic tourism!) I came to this conclusion after we drove along the coast of NSW today, exploring the many different and beautiful beaches.

 What I personally found quite wonderful was that despite each beach possessing the core characteristics of a beach (sand, water, waves, rocks etc.) each beach that we went to, had their own special characteristics and unique qualities. One beach would have beautiful white sand, while another had massive waves, another had developed a blow hole and one had beautiful rock surfaces.

Made me think a little bit about ourselves, how as humans and God's children, we may go through similar circumstances or possess similar qualities (eyes, ears, family etc.) but we never come out of each experience exactly the same. We are all moulded and created differently to serve different purposes and to be God's light in this world.

btw, forgot to ask you guys what you think of our new layout?
would love your feedback lovely ones! :)

//MAGICAL MYSTERY TOURS

Now this is the internet being used to it's fullest, most innovative capacity.

Something about this project by We Are What we Do seems so lovely and engaging!

You experience stunning photos from people ALL OVER THE WORLD! :D The nostaligia that accompanies it is overwhelming. It's so much fun and you really appreciate how much our world has changed. Additionally, this really showcases how the world wide web can be used to educate, appreciate and engage with societies of people from the other side of the globe!!

One of my favourite parts of the History PIn project is the "tours". I selected the "Beatle Mania" tour, which promised: A Magical Mystery tour of the Fab Four. Look at these images!

//BON APPETIT

Continuing our Brisbane adventures are these photos of one of the BEST pizza's i've EVER eaten!! I really can't remember the name of the place, but it was campus food and what was special about the place was that each pizza type was named after a letter of the alphabet. So our friends were like; "try 'A'" or "'W' is the best"  or "maybe you should just try your initials and see what you get". It was all ppreeetttyyy fun.

But seriously, it was tasty!

I wanted to share more pictures of where we journeyed but I seemed to have misplaced my usb of photos. So hopefully I will find it soon. (For my sanity's sake!) It really frustrates me when I misplace things, the search, the frustration, the anger, the rage. But the best part is when you discover what you're looking for, that feeling of exhilaration and excitement at rediscovering that item of worth. Ah, it pleases me so.

Also wanted to share these pics, not only does Vess look stunning, (what a great smile!) but the buildings behind her, from memory, is the Law part of Queensland University. The columns, the stonework and simply the feelings of prestige the buildings emmits is just stunning.

//QUEENSLAND intro

the lovely ones in Queensland

Sadly, our blog has been stagnant for the past few weeks, it’s been very hard and difficult to blog, when we have sooooo much to blog about! So, as you may have read/heard/anticipated in our very long uni break (almost 2 months) Vess and I and two of our dear friends journeyed up to the sunny side of Australia, Queensland!

We didn’t stay too long in Queensland, but basically, we explored, travelled, smiled at and were inspired by the weather of Queensland, the architecture, the theme parks and their art and culture.
It was a great time to relax as well. And it was our first time travelling together as a group of friends. It felt like a really long, fun and calm sleepover.

Keep looking, because there will be more pictures to come of what we did and saw in Queensland!

//oh THE MULTITUDES

Hello awesome readers!

Just wanted to share with you what we've been up to. Miss V&V have been travelling around the beautiful city of melbourne, exploring, eating, and having a merry old time.

We were lucky enought to join our beautiful friend from A.O.H.B  on viewing her amazing uni work! But, more on that later! :)

The mega store ZARA opened in Melbourne Wednesday Morning at 9am. Was it busy? Was there excitement? Well, you can see for yourself!

We couldn't even THINK about going into the store, the line was so long! We'll wait until the hype is over and then we can venture further into there. It's so very funny that there is such a massive line. The clothes should still be there in a couple weeks time!

Another amazing happening in Melbourne is this light artwork by Bruce Ramus. It looks like a GIANT pyramid. Unfortunately we weren't able to stay until dark, so we are yet to see it all lit up! But doesn't it look great?

It was really gorgeous, within the sculpture, there are all these little lanterns, ribbion and crafty things that others have added to personalise the artwork. So it becomes a community piece in the process. How lovely is it?

More sights to be shared coming soon, until then lovelies!

THE FINAL DAY:

The final day in the lovely land of Singapore was spent with my wonderful auntie!

She took me Orchard road and we went ALL the way up to the top levels of... Orchard Central and we got to go STATIONARY SHOPPING! Who doesn't love that? :)

I got a couple of sketch books as presents, so hopefully I can share some thing with you guys soon!

But on a more serious note.

Stationary in Singapore

IS SO CHEAP!
well cheap compared to Australia

After I had an enjoyable time browsing and enjoying the wonders that is stationary, we moved quickly to city plaza. There you can find a ton of clothes from Korea and Japan. They had a couple of really gorgeous things that were soooo lovely and soft! Quite a variety, but don't expect to get anything that's at an economical price! I did pick up a top and a dress for.. $10 each? I think that Val's going to share some photos of that dress with you lovelies soon.

And then, I said my goodbyes to my uncle and auntie and Rach, and I was on the plane home.

Which is another story in itself, lets just say that I got to eat grapes from business class and I was simply blessed beyond my imagination.

Lovely readers, that concludes my travels in Singapore! Thanks for reading and sharing this with me! Hopefully I've given you some insight to: where to go, what to see and encouraged you to go there for your own Singapore adventure.

I can't wait to share with you a brand new segment that will feature my wonderful friend and my tour guide on my Singapore journey!

for the finally time from my travels:

//SOME SERIOUS UNIVERSAL FUN

 Singapore has recently done a lot of work to bring the people of this good world:

another universal studios

And I got to go!
Truly a blessing for me! :D

Located at Sentosa, to get to Universal we had to go through Vivo city and take a shuttle uni-rail/train thing. Had an awesome view!

See, I wasn't just having fun, I was thinking of Val!

Universal!!!

It was really amazing! There were different areas dedicated to different movies, the mummy, shrek, gotham city, star gate, jurassic park. The way they had created the "worlds" was fantastic! Nothing was wrong! And some of the things they made, WERE HUGE!! Favourites definately was the land of Far Far Away (Shrek!), Madagascar and the "hollywood" area. They had this gorgeous diner that made me feel like I was in the 40s :)

Enjoying the rides! Despite Rach's attempts to freak me out, I can successfully say. "I WENT ON THAT!"

Isn't it stunning?!

And we met some famous fellows.

Funny story, the Peanut Butter Cup was running away from as I attempted to take a photo with it. Look at it steer away from attempts for a friendship...

Overall, a really great place to go for a fun day! The rides were great, but they failed to make me insanely scared. What impressed me was the authencity of the park! So many places to take photos and just have a really fun time. Definately go for a day trip!
